May the Court Postpone Issuing a Judgment After Reserving the Case for Judgment Three Times?

The court may not postpone issuing the judgment beyond the third time it reserves the case for judgment. However, Article 167 of the Civil and Commercial Procedures Law does not prescribe a legal penalty for failing to adhere to this provision.
Moreover, the court's decision to reopen pleadings was based on valid reasons, as permitted by Article 168 of the same law.
