Proof (Knowledge – Prescription)
The general principle is that a person is presumed unaware of legal acts that occur in their absence, and silence is not considered evidence of knowledge. The burden of proof lies with the party alleging knowledge, in accordance with the procedures prescribed by law.
Rights remain intact and are not subject to prescription except under the conditions and procedures explicitly provided by law.
