Juvenile Trial
Juvenile Trial (Presence of a Lawyer)
Lawyer (Accompanying a Juvenile during Trial)
Law (Application of Article 39 of the Juvenile Accountability Law)
According to Article 39 of the Juvenile Accountability Law, the presence of a lawyer with the juvenile throughout the trial proceedings is mandatory, not optional, to support the juvenile in their defense.
Any violation of this requirement renders the judgment void, as it pertains to public order, and the Supreme Court may raise this issue on its own initiative.
