Contractor / Consultant – Joint Liability – Responsibility

The contractor and the consultant are jointly liable for any total or partial collapse that occurs in the buildings they have constructed within ten years from the date of delivery. This liability also extends to any defects found in the buildings or structures that may threaten their structural integrity and safety. The purpose of this guarantee is to ensure that the construction remains sound and durable for a period of ten years after handover.
